It seems impossi
ble to continue the trajectory set by the previous leaders of the South Dakota Chapter of HFMA unless we believe in our purpose, each other, and ourselves. If we believe that our purpose to provide excellent education and networking opportunities provides value to our members, we can achieve outstanding opportunities to increase our knowledge of healthcare. If we believe in each other, we can work together to achieve our chapter goals and provide value to our members. If we believe in ourselves, we can achieve personal growth by volunteering to take risks and use our talents to help our chapter by serving on various committees. Gregory M. Adams appropriately selected "Believe to Achieve" as the theme for the 2011-2012 HFMA year.
